Lake House Renovation

The owners approached Omnia Forma Architects to elevate their beloved lake house by introducing elegant, custom architectural details to both the front and rear façades. Our goal was to enhance the home’s charm while preserving its lakeside appeal.

We incorporated new siding and windows in select areas, added decorative gable-end bracing, and designed custom barn doors with a handcrafted wood awning to create a striking entrance facing the lake. Inside, we transformed the master bedroom by demolishing the ceiling to create soaring cathedral ceilings, making the space feel grand and luxurious.

The deteriorating deck posts were replaced with custom-designed columns featuring Arts and Crafts-inspired knee braces and stone-clad bases, bringing a refined yet timeless look to the exterior. Through these carefully crafted architectural details, we revitalized the home, adding character and a sense of grandeur without altering its cherished essence.
